  • To paraphrase Andy, "We dreamed of fame, fortune and beer...at least we got the beer!"

  • @xnonsuchx that is a GREAT quote!

  • It is XTC but from around 1978 before Dave Gregory joined Replacing B Andrews. From left to right is A .Partridge, Colin Moulding,Terry Chambers and Barry Andrews Hope that helps? ;).

  • @morey1968 Defnitely! thanks! Wow...that's Andy on the left? Would not have guessed.

  • Can a more hardcore fan tell me what I'm looking at? I chose this picture cuz it looked cool, but none of these guys look like Andy IMO. Who's who?

  • I'm glad I was given the opportunity to be the first one to upload this. Amazing performance.

  • There is no pop band as pure and perfect as XTC, and very likely never will be.:)

  • @TFMTraining No it doesn't - show me where it says the music is from 1978. Some guy asked about the PHOTO, and another replied it was from 1978 (as it is). Tell me how I'm wrong.....no one was talking about the music, as you thought they were.

  • @TheMightyHartley You should learn to read properly, It says "It is XTC but from around 1978 ". I don't see the word "Photo" at all.

  • @TFMTraining Read properly. He said the PHOTO above is from 1978, and he's right.

  • Lovely lovely lovely version - how much this band makes me smile

  • @morey1968 Cant be from 1978. The album was release in 1989. The lyrics reference "Home Computer". No such thing in 1978. Home computers weren't available until 1980/81.

  • @jmorris724 at least 2 layers of irony, because - yes - he does if my ears are to be believed...but they weren't big hits, so i guess he's still right.

  • Wow, fantastic. It's a shame that we never got a full 'XTC Unplugged' album - minus the musical infection that is MTV, of course.

  • @jmorris724 think andy might be the one in front with the glass
