@kendrastar1 The a cappella requirement has been dropped at most competitions in Southern CA, however directors still often choose to conduct their a cappella as it keeps each performance fresh and spontaneous.

@wolfpup118 Yeah, but in Cali, where they're from, they have to do an acapella ballad, so all the show choirs are allowed to do that.

that ballad is cheating. All of the competitions my group goes to you are not allowed to have a director in front at all. nor does my group need all of the flashy lights and shit to look decent.

How dare you uninformed, uneducated and unqualified people criticize what you don't understand, A choir is a group, several talented people who could shine as inviduals, joining together as one unit. This often means putting your own ego aside for the benefit of the team. Then working as hard as they do to put this show together, just so some of you ignorant (in the actcual meaning of the word) can insult them. They were great and they did it right. Keep it up kids.
