i have seen a lot of blues licks lesson on the internet. But i gotta say these were the tastiest of them all. moreover there were three of them. loved the licks, loved the tone. Thanks David.

Oh David! This is just awesome. You would easily have the most popular and influential guitar channel if you did little lessons like this, but on people's specific styles. For example: Pick 3 B.B. King-style licks and show them in context, 3 David Walliman licks, 3 Paul Gilbert licks, 3 David Gilmour Licks, 3 Paul Kossoff licks, etc. It would probably help people with their ear training to pick out (say that first lick in Thrill is Gone, or Sky is Cryin') in other contexts too. Excellent video!

Even though this vid is only like 1:44 its probably the most inspiring I've seen in ages.
For me, it's concise and to the point of what we should be trying to do with licks etc.

Thanks for the very cool vid David - please teach more free lessons on blues licks in context. It's so cool to see how they can be used over backing tracks.
