  • @widlad7 Hiya, yes I love finding out about Johnny Briggs, he's a bit of a personal hero and I collect stories about him.  I drove past what was Cheadle Asylum the other week. Victorian cricket was splendid for the gentlemen like Hornby but pretty brutal for the ordinary players like Briggs and Mold.
