Well, as a one that is just getting started. That was a great lesson. Have you a vidieo that shows how to paint granite? Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I loved you explanition of why you didn't got by the ole stand by rule, dark to light.

I've painted since I was 6 years old and have taken a lot of lessons in my life and you are not only an amazing painter but an amazing teacher....those two don't always go together....you also have a very pleasant voice and manner and it's a pleasure to listen and learn from you. thank you.

@1933billbro Hi Bill, I'm not sure about a video on that one, but I'll tell you an easy way. Paint the granite base color, usually gray. Then, dip a toothbrush into paint and you can spray on small bits of paint by pulling your thumb back over the brush. That will give you little specks of black, red, and white, or whatever colors you choose.
