Real Life in France: Bad Building Managers, the REAL Paris, etc.!

I live in Saint-Denis, France, now often called Paris-Saint-Denis because Paris has spilled over into us, and we have a border contiguous with Paris. Saint-Denis is so, SO happening, and I have loved it for 16 years, since I immigrated to France from the USA in search of healthcare.

There are bad things here, which I fight: monopolies, apathy, indifference, building management companies, quality of life issues, bullies, litterbugs, drug sellers in my nabe, people and the planet being exploited and harmed, et cetera.

Look up "Paris Syndrome" on your 'net searcher. People have this zany Hollywood idea of Paris, and they save to visit here, and when they see how it really is, they get very ill. It's a recognized mental illness in Japan, for example.

This was filmed Easter Sunday in my nabe, a quartier chaud, meaning rough area. Easter is really done on Mondays here, though, as in England -- to get a day off, IF we are lucky enought to have jobs!
