You really need to give the background of each group. Example Dominicans & Puerto Ricans are different but have similarites as well. However Dominicans & Mexicans are very different. Argentinians & Peruvians are different. How about the story of the Afro Latinos as well U have Afro Dominicans which represents 80% of the population. YOu got Afro Cubans U got Afro Puerto Ricans. You also have indigenous stories as well & the Mestizo stories. It would take like a 20 part series & serious reporting

2nd I mean the Spanish were first in North America they settled Florida, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Nevada, California. However the Indigenous ancestors have been here 10,000 years and not just 400 plus years and became Mexican citizens and some intermarried with the Spanish and share a rich tradition English, German or even Irish were actually the last to come to the Americas. 1rst English Colony was established in 1607. Soledad needs to read the history books b4 she reports.

You know their is gonna be Latino in America and the problem is that Mexican are the majority and have been here even b4 the Germans, Jews & Irish. Why do u think their are so many Spanish Towns like San Diego, San Antonio, Los Angeles and States. Spanish first in Americas is she stupid? I need to introduce America to the wonderful music, food and sport our culture has brought to the American mix, just as previous immigrant groups -- the Germans, Jews or Irish -- did before Latinos.

Even Zoe Saldana said - Whenever she goes to the Dominican Republic, the press asks her if she American or Dominican. She says she is a mujer negra, a black woman. When they tell her no, she is trigueñita, light brown, she answers, “I am a black woman.” Zoe is not in denial of who she is or where her roots come from. Even Puerto Ricans like Tego Calderon is open about his ancestry and his roots while others try to hide or deny it. Afro Cubans also are in touch with their roots & celebrate it.

Latino in America are the Garcias in denial of their roots? In the part of the interview in the video he states that they may even be thought to be African American. They live in America & they do have African roots it is easy to see. What is he trying to say with this statement? We are not those people? Really time for a self examination or reality check. Another part is where the kid says I don't like being called Mexican.I guess he is talking about all the indigenous & Mestizos who work hard
