Chile peppers are hot—not only do they add culinary fire to thousands of dishes, they inspire near-fanatic devotion in those who have succumbed to their incendiary charms. International chile experts Dave DeWitt and Paul W. Bosland have assembled all the information that anyone with an interest in chiles—whether foodie, vegetable gardener, or heat-seeker—could ever hope to find.
Given their surnames, I would presume both Mr. De Witt and Dr. Bosland are chileheads of Dutch descent. Which is a good thing :)
