Back then, Hondas were actually good.

The music in that honda commercial is mysterious...........!

Cool Spot: Just another shameless way to cash in on the popularity of Sonic the Hedgehog.

@dgendvil Actually the Ford Aspire was a success here in Australia. It was called the Ford Festiva here. Between 1995 and 1998, it was the 8th best selling car in the country, and the 2nd best selling Ford model between '95-'99 (after the Falcon). It was discontinued in 2000.

Wow, I can't believe I actually remember some of these commercials from when I was 8.

How come the Ford Aspire wasn't a success like the Taurus did? I know all other Ford vehicles are best sellers, but not the Aspire or the Contour & they lasted for a short time.

That's a really good question, Derek. I wouldn't know that myself. Just Wikipedia it. That's my best suggestion.

Great clip. Thanks for posting.
I saw Speed when it came out - it was pretty heady stuff for a nine-year-old. Luckily (or unluckily, depending on your point of view), my mother let me watch all kinds of movies I wasn't *supposed* to see. She even took me to see Passenger 57 when I was 7. I loved it so much that I made her take me to see it again.
In 1997, I saw Speed II: Cruise Control - a classic case of a sequel that pooped all over the legacy of its vastly superior predecessor.

Hey...Passenger 57 is one of my all-time favorite action movies. I've seen both Speed movies and I thought the first one was better. The second one sucked ass, though. If you want to see the trailer for the second Speed movie, digitaldave1982 has it.

Your profile says you're a Snipes fan. What did you think of Demolition Man?

It was pretty good, though Snipes' character got what he deserved @ the end. First time I saw it, though, I was thinking, "Why was Snipes' character killed?"
But that was when I was six. A bit later on I finally understood what was going on in the movie. However, that wasn't the only movie where Snipes played the villain. There was also New Jack City.
