  • This video is proof that democracy is a very dangerous thing....

  • Very soon you may get what you wished for. If and when the Lisbon treaty kicks in we'll be living under a socialist dictatorship.

  • It is tragic that such an ignorant and misinformed person has been elected and that he was allowed to teach in British schools. Looking at his CV on the European Parliament website I notice that his most recent qualification in Chemistry - which he implies makes him an expert on the environment - was a Diploma in Science, Exeter University (1962). The Chemistry curriculum hasn't changed much since 1962 - yet science moves on.

  • So why don't the warmists move on, or is it because the lie has become so big they can't back down?

  • Or is it because the evidence is so big they can't back down?

  • Mmmm....

Even the BBC is now giving room to other viewpoints.

  • He tells it like it is. If this bothers you, then keep your comfortably up your a*s.

  • FACT - C02 makes up less than 0.5 of 1% of the total atmosphere

FACT - Global warming is a natural and cyclic phenomenon

  • I'd rather trust scientists than US presidents - what do they know about climate change?

"The earth is in ... dynamic development" - just because change is natural doesn't mean it is good for us humans (or other organisms), and this change may not be natural.

However, I agree that using up farmland which could be used to feed people, and biofuel usage causing deforestation is bad. This indicates that well thought out, evidence based discussions are required, rather than this.

  • I'm unimpressed

"CO_2 is a natural constituent of the atmosphere" - that doesn't affect whether the CO_2 levels changing is a good thing.

The Manhatten declaration sounds more credible - but how many of the people who signed are climate change experts? and more importantly, what proportion of the experts agree with the declaration? The impression I get from societies like AAAS is that CO_2 emissions is a problem, but I'll try not to pick and choose who I listen to.
