Watch the impressive five minute time-lapse video that captures the successful demolition of the old Catthorpe viaduct, near Rugby, Leicestershire, which carried the M6 southbound over the M1. Over a 36-hour period from the early hours of Saturday (7 January) morning through to lunchtime on Sunday (8 January), the team demolished the structure, cleared the rubble away and then re-opened the M1.
The Highways Agency would like to thank road users for their patience during this work.
