William Shakespeare arrives home from London to a frosty reception from his wife and a mixed reception from his twins, Judith & Hamnet. He wants them to help with a rehearsal of his newest play A Midsummer Night's Dream". Hamnet objects strongly to the idea of playing a female role and right from the start the play moves at a cracking pace with much mirth, madness and confusion. There are so many opportunities for class involvement in the readings, group activities, language and literary work of this attractive, practical text.

Will's Twins is written by Patrick Spillane. This clip is from the opening scene of "Will's Twins" where Will & Anne argue over Hamnet being on stage. Hamnet agrees with his mum's point of view!
