Kentucky Dam on May 8th, 2009 during some flooding. Lake elevation was about 362 at the time and the tailwaters were about 25 feet above normal.

  • @phildeez1984 well i'd like to hear republicans talking more about clean tech and phasing out fossil fuels sadly i'm not which is causing me to lose interest in the entire party, also i'm not hearing about how they're going to fix healthcare, you know the problems we had BEFORE the big messy bill

  • @isawanangel2 We have several here in western KY but Barkley Dam and Kentucky Dam are the most commonly known of the group. When this one was built across the TN river, its reservoir became known Kentucky Lake. On the other side of LBL (Land Between the Lakes) is Barkley Dam. Barkley Dam was built across the Cumberland River and its reservoir became known as Barkley Lake.
