My Good sir don't put all your Pucks in goal. I would love for the Jets to come back but they could put a Franchise in Hamilton or Quebec you never know. I am a Rangers fan and who wouldn't love to see a Winnipeg Jets Revival. However with your New Arena in Winnipeg your dreams might just come true. If they sell the Thrashers I want them to go to Hartford.

@kimsucks87 Ice hockey was invented in Canada and it is our National treasure. We have more outdoor rinks at one community centre than you have rinks in all of Phoenix. Our country literally shut down for the Gold medal game in Vancouver and turned into one big party after. In Winnipeg alone Portage and Main which is our busiest intersection was shut down in calibration as a street hockey game broke out when the 12,000 or so hockey fans who watched the gold medal game at our arena.

@kimsucks87 In 1979 the Jets who where publicly owned were forced to be privately owned in order to join the NHL with the dissolving of the WHA. The Winnipeg Jets will never die and as sad as it is for the league and for Arizona Hockey fans they have never had a chance to survive in the desert and it is time to come home. You sir make Americans look bad by showing not knowing the facts. Heck I bet your one of those ignorant yanks that think Toronto is the Capital of Canada.

@kimsucks87 The word Hockey was first used in the early 1800's in England but some forms today’s field hockey have been recorded in many countries for centuries. I never once resorted to the argument that hockey was ours. I said the team is ours or do you not know the history of your own team. Formed in 1972 the Winnipeg Jets played there first season in the WHA and was the last team to win the leagues championship by defeating the Edmonton Oilers to complete their three year championship run.

OO I'm very aware that Canada is not the only Hockey country, it's a global sport. In fact when put up against a large number of American cities Winnipeg doesn't even compare anymore because of our diversity. Just there are some places were it's big league and others where it is little league. Hundreds of millions of losses for 15 years straight kind of means you should try the little leagues for a little bit. Actually it is very certain where ice hockey was invented.
