Christmas 2011 - Love for Christmas

As another year comes to an end,
It is Christmas time again.

And more than ever in our current generations,
do we need to come together, help each other
and remember what Christmas is all about.

Lets remember the message and spirit of Christmas,
To get along, to be kind, forgiving and open minded
towards others.

To stop our senseless bickering, hatred, and wars,
to reach out and lend a helping hand to those who need it.

To forgive rather than trying to get even,
to care not only about our families and friends,
but also about others around us.
There are many people in need of help these days,
even in our own towns and cities.

No matter what ethnic background,
no matter what believes or where on the Planet,
every parent wants the same for their children.

To be able to grow up safely, to be happy, to be free,
to be respected and accepted for who they are,
to live without fear or hunger.

Let's remember the spirit and message of Christmas and live it.
And perhaps, we will be able to keep some of it alive
past the Christmas season and throughout the year.

Not miracles, but a little compassion, understanding and caring
and we'll be able to make a difference.
