Evolutionist Baffled by a Religious Man

In you tube we find all kinds of crazy creationists, they want to validate the Bible or the Koran as a scientific source or justify stories within them as fact. On the other hand we find religious folks like this Catholic Priest that baffled people like me, that does not have those beliefs and think that evidence provided by science is a better description of natural phenomena than the usual "god did it".

In their defense. People in Abraham's day didn't have time for scientific curiosity. They did better than hand to mouth survival. But, life was hard.

Drives me nuts that religious people today can't accept that. And allow for the fact that the people who wrote Genesis were primitive. So even if God had described the big bang, and evolution they'd have wrote it down wrong anyway.

@xdassinx Spot on! Admitting that the bible was written by primitive humans does not take away the fact it could be the book for spiritual guidance used by all Judeo-Christians religions. Do that and move on. And all the controversy about its validity, of it being a science book, etc. goes away.
