  • Awesome video! Can you show how you would tape the MCL and tape the patella back to the center? My patella leans towards my ACL from a MCL partial tear. Thanks!

  • @aznloc - Simply place a patellar y-strip on the knee first, and then go through the MCL taping procedure. If you look at some of my other videos, you can see patellar taping as well (one or two y-strips).

  • how does kinesio taping work? i know the benefits with circulation, reduced pain, and retraining the neurons in the muscles, but how does it do all this?

    and how effective is this tape job for a 2 degree tear in the mcl?

  • Is the tape less effective if there is hair present?

  • Thank you very much for posting this helpful video. Could you "please" a similar tutorial for taping the LCL, or for taping the MCL and the LCL at the same time?
