CEO at Saatchi & Saatchi Madrid for 7 years. Now, consultant at infonomia, a think tank based in Barcelona which studies what's in the edge of the enterprise and the world. She explained that TED stands for Technology, Entertainment and design and that was carried out for the first time in 1984 in the Monterrey Aquarium. She explained the main features of TED events and some of the accomplishments that were presented in TED2011 in California.

TEDx, x = independently organized event: In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
