Maria Arredondo - The Touch

Maria Arredondo performing "The Touch" for the very first time on the Eurovision Song Contest in Norway. This song made it all the way to the Finale of 6th February in Oslo Spektrum. This is a song written by the man who gave us "You Raise Me Up", "Mitt Liv", "La Det Swinge" & "Nocturne", Rolf Løvland. He has boith written and composed this song for Maria Arredondo.

This song is so touchable and I cannot help to cry out though I love the CD version more.

She is a fantastic singer. I have listened to a lot of her studio work, and it's excellent.

This isn't her finest performance, but the song doesn't help. It's a dreary, soppy ballad, that doesn't have any good features to it. It hasn't got a catchy chorus or anything that makes it memorable. Even as I type this comment, I am struggling to remember the whole song.

This was my favorite in MGP 2010. How did Didrik win? I hated that song. And it ended up 20. in ESC. This would had been in top 10. Although this video is from the semi-final. She sang much better in the final.

why...just why do the winning countries always come with a ballad the next year?? Obviously this one is much worse than the previous winner from norway, and therefore it doesn't stand a chance. Im not saying this to be mean, but usually ballads like these don't win. Her music is nice, but NOT for eurovision. People want action and dancing. But then again we shall see.
