Very nicely done. For guys that still insist on screw-in steps, if you hunt frequently (I'll get in 80-100 a deer season) by the end of the year you will have carpal tunnel or other issues screwing in/out tree steps that often. Tree sticks such as these are much safer as well. The 'set-off' from the tree makes it safer, and also easier to put in the stand.

Sorry but I use screw in steps and I would be done by the time you put your second set of steps on.

What do you think about using one of the lone wolf straps on the block for the millenium, instead of the chains?

Nice job! Informative!
Thanks for the video. I bought the sticks last year and used your tips to help make the settup that much quicker and safer. One of the best how to videos I've seen. Lone Wolf should pay you. Happy hunting!

Thanks for the comments! Be watching for a new video in the next week or two that should help you even more with your sticks. I've refined the process a bit over the last few years.

Thanks for watching the video! Check back here in a few weeks. I am putting together a two part video for the LW sticks / Millennium Stand combo. Just did a trial run over the weekend, and had everything set up in less than 5 minutes.

this looks like it would only work with trees with no branches

Wrong, they actually work better when you have branches to work with, IMO. You can use the branches as extra steps, if big enough, and possibly make the climb with less sticks.
