I remember when my high school battled St. Aug some years back...ripped us to SHREDS lol
The band this year was mostly 8th graders, and kids that would have needed more time to make the band back in 1988. I am very proud of these kids because they carried the weight of greatness, and the tradition of St Aug. We felt the pressure from the class of 1985, many of those alumni came back to the school to install in us what it means to come out of the Horse Shoe. If you look the movie Drum line, you're looking at field shows created by Mr. Hampton.

Just imagine being one these 8th graders this year in a band as legendary as St Aug.Many of them wanted to be apart of the band prior to the Storm. They had to first get over the heartbreak before they could even play a note. I think God for the Alumni who got the band back on the field and marching again. Even as I view this clip I see alumni walking with this band, because we love our even now. So laugh now, but we will laugh last. PURPLE!!!!
