@Guitaristified See I agree with you but the people who are able to sweep arpeggios etc lack the genuine feeling that Jimi put in. Or maybe guitar now isn't about that, I dont know.

O.k. I've said this before, I will say it for the last time. Its all about what you like. I'm and r and b, jazz, and funk person, so to me Jimi is about as good as it gets. Now, as for the people who say his style is outdated. Are you kidding me. Everyt guitarist alive today has some element of his playing in them.. But its all subjective. It depends on what the music does for you. He didn't neck tap, sweep arpeggio etc. But his music still holds up today, because it came from within IMO.

If I was ever to show why Jimi was the most creative player of all time, I certainly would NOT show these clips.
