Well what do you think idiots? its a hot country and of coure they are gona have guards, and i dont know what youre on about because i went there and it was an amazing expierience
There is trouble in paradise. The boracay gov't's dogcatchers are killing off the dogs, both strays and owner-owned. The dogcathers are in violation of the animal welfare act, but they operate with impunity. the mayor gives his blessings. It's all very corrupt and cruel. Make your complaints to the Bureau of Animal Industry. Phone: +632 927-0971; 926-6883 Fax: +632 928-2429
my father inlaw say that during the 1960s Borocay was totally uninhabited apart from the local indigenious tribes the Nigrito, and it was unspoilt unlike today! what a terrible shame its ruined!
It's sad about the dogs, but more sad with what has happened to Boracay. I've looked at some of the YT videos and it seems to have turned into Pataya. Then again, I'm an old coot who used to enjoy a peaceful smoke there.
There's too many stray dogs on the Island. Shooters (mainly security guards with guns) go out on the beaches in the very early morning and shoot them. The dead dogs are good eating after that.
Hey Phildutch man, We're gonna visit Boracay during me and my gf's visit to the philippines. She's actually from Boracay so no need for a guide here. Man I can't wait for July 2007. We're going on a crosscountry trip. Anyone join us ? hehe
