FBI using GPS to track activists

An environmental activist has stepped forward to Wired Magazine after she found a GPS which had been placed under her car, courtesy of the feds. According to Wired.com, this method is becoming a common way for feds to track anyone deemed suspicious or a "potential threat" to our country, depending on if you consider environmental activists a threat.

If you are in a profession where you consider protestors a threat to the point you see the need to track them then you need to work out your priorities, quick.

My best friend, himself an activist and victim of prosecutions gone too far, has found GPS devices on his car long after his probation had ended. That's illegal. Who is really breaking the law, the idealists who organize in a public place or the Big Brother who spies on them for doing so?

We have a fourth amendment right to be secure from warrantless gov't intrusion of our home, effects and our person. There is nothing there that says it's not applicable if we are in public. The courts are WRONG! This needs to change. This means no government surveillance cameras, no stop and frisk, no DUI checkpoints and no body scanners. These are all warrantless searches! All illegal! All unconstitutional! We have a criminal government!

Instead of tracking activists they should be tracking animal abusers and setting up an animal abuser database to be linked with violence committed against humans.  They have already recognized the link between serial killers and animal abusers.
