Amereida

"amereida" was an utopian journey taken by an international group of poets in l965. It started from Tierra del Fuego and ended in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. It was envisioned as a poem to be written and performed in the land creating a new conceptual foundation for the Americas. The group published an anonymous book called "amereida" and founded the "Open City" in Ritoque, near Con Con, Chile. This short film is about the "Open City" as it is today.
