  • thank you so much for posting this. I would like to learn about Africa according to an African.

  • Pleasure is mine :)

  • you seem to be a very educated young lady. i sometimes understand what you are trying to say in your videos. you always seem to come off as angry though.

  • LOL, do I sound angry? I used to be a high school teacher and had the most difficult teenagers.Maybe thats what affected the way I talk.LOL.

  • i dont appreciate you saying that i dont know anything about africa. i am from the caribbean, am black and am an american. that makes me an "african- american" i guess. i do know about africa. you are a very negative person to group all people together by saying that people dont know anything about africa just because they are not from there.

  • It's quite unfortunate that my video is sort of an over generalization.I know there are AAs who know about Africa even mo' than I do.Pardon me if the video sounds offensive.That wasn't my intention.

  • Look, black Afrika is not materially, ecologically, culturally, spiritually or humanly poor. There is just pervasive man made lack of infrastructure and basic necessities due to blatant the corruption and exploitation by multinational coorporations and local elites. The apparent "poverty" in Africa is artificial in essence.

  • Greetings.

    I am African American. (RED BLACK AND GREEN!!)

    Everything you have said in this video, i already knew. I wanted to see what other people thought about african americans... this saddens me. How many people have you actually talked to? I think its pure ignorance to think that people think, african-american people do not know their history. My mother and father...and previous generations always made sure we knew who we are and where our ancestors are from. PRIDE.

  • africans are awsome!!!! americans ones need to go bak to africa and learn!!!

  • @oromo1991

    It goes both ways. I have had many encounters where I was called a nigger, nigga, stupid,and unworthy because I am so called "black". Yet I am not going to sit here and say that all africans are like that, because there is ignorance and hatred among every race. Thank God I understand that unlike others.

  • @TheJayvy

    I didn't forget, but don't deny that we have a different culture. We are not denying, or acting shameful, we just don't want to be forgotten or mixed up with others so that no one knows our culture and history.

  • @WupeViasco

    Okay, I hear you, then what do suppose I call myself? Because I am not the color black, and I feel that it is demeaning to be titled just a color when I am (1) so much more and (2) not even the color black, not even close.

  • @Dustycajungurl

    Thank you, if you don't like it, go home!

  • Im so sick of black americans calling them self african, So should i start calling my self cubin/irish american ? no i was boarn in america so im american, it seem people cry about race but in the end want to remain seprate and diffrent. Enough with the titles and the skin colors, we are all americans or humans in the end !

  • African=Slave

    American=Slave Master

    African=Neters/Gods

    American=Devils

    African=Victims

    American=Perpetrators

    How Can you Be Both?

  • I don't understand why we have to go to such great lengths over race. Why can't we be Americans? The first man to die for the American Revolution, was a black man. Me personally, I have (mainly Irish) roots. I don't call myself Irish-American, despite my skin tone looking like mayonnaise. Thank you for the info...I enjoy learning new things, especially about sweet places like Africa.

  • Many do sound stupid here because black Americans ancestors was force to forget their language, culture & families which they never be happy with it, so today as you all are free don't you black Americans think it will be great honor to your ancestors if you people regain your origin and culture as they fought for it & did not gain it then? Or you people want to compare with Europeans who their ancestors voluntarily went to America to recreate their identities even the leaders of slave trade.

  • I'm real African and so much love Africa also never care if blacks in America call their self’s African American or not because if not as bible said that old things have pass away i could not accept or call any black human in America my brothers or my sisters because my ancestors will be angry with me which my ancestors have strong reason to be angry with me, if any of black human in America want to know why let he or she as his father how slave trade started b4 demand became hight...
