I was actually pretty good at fighting them. The first time was a drag because I couldn't figure out how to kill them. After that I got pretty good because I was a jump fighter. And once I got those jump boots I would hardly be touched. What really stressed me out was how long it took to kill them and how freaky the song is. I would have used the super missiles....but I am the frugal gamer who saves ammo for the "next unknown challenge".

@SuperMissile I actually kind of wish they did this, even as a one-off event. Seeing those tortured souls deliver the smackdown on bewildered Pirates in a kind of one-sided guerrilla combat would have been even more epic than the end of the Meta Ridley fight.
