And it's a good thing you're getting a keyboard. How much experience do you have of such instrument? I've only been playing for about a year and 9 months.. I'd highly reccomend you try learning Ludovico's 'I gorni' and/or Yiruma's 'River Flows In you'... Remember, inspiration cannot find us, we must find it.

@TheNobodyPMK Unfortunately, no keyboard this year. But I may get myself one with the new job next month. As for experience, I don't have much of any but I'm an extremely quick learner. I briefly played guitar and I did well at that. I've always been drawn to musical instruments.

I know how you feel. Inspiration is a fading glimmer of hope soon lost in the darkness. I know how you can get that drive. Depending on the type of story you intend to write, atmospheric music can help you to immerse you into the story. Say for example you were to write a horror story. Then you'd want to listen to dramatic sinister sounding music to pour the dreaded feelings out better. A love story would require gentle comforting piano music. It helps allot. Just a suggestion. :)

@TheNobodyPMK Oh I always listen to music that fits the type of story I write. It's absolutely essential and it sets the mood perfectly. I also change the tune depending on what situations occur within the story.

Working out for u would be awesome, it makes you look boss, lol. I'm on the wrestling team and I'm in better shape I've ever been in. U should consider it man, and btw I hope you have a merry Christmas.

@INSANE705 I really don't care how I look. All that matters to me is that I'm healthy. I'll most likely be doing that once the weather clears up. Better doing that when it's nicer out.

@WowEvanwoW In the spring I'll be getting myself a bike, so I would think that that would help. Cardio on that is great. I might get the East West Quantum Leap software. That stuff is ridiculously awesome.

i was in the same spot as you for a long time, you should really consider working out because it'll make you feel way better and not to mention look better.

and i heard you mention a keyboard. an mpk25 is a pretty nice keyboard for it's price, just pirate a copy of ableton or fl studio and and start making some tunes, it'll really get your mind off of the world around you and it's much more productive than playing games.
