The gay Greek myths uncensored. Not the Greek mythology you were taught in school, but the real stuff. Heroic, cautionary, or shamanic, the myths will change how you see yourself. Hercules with Hylas, Orpheus with the Thracians, and Zeus with Ganymede, along with other real men and gods who loved those of their own sex, such as Apollo and Hyacinth, Achilles and Patroclus, Poseidon and Pelops, Laius and Chrysippus, and Narcissus and Ameinias. The art shows the world of the ancients as THEY saw it, while their myths proclaim that self-indulgence, betrayal and violence are base, and that love is the highest good. . . . .
Read by Timothy Carter, Directed by Agnes Lev, Script by Andrew Calimach. . . . .
Based on the best-selling book "Lovers' Legends Unbound." The unabridged version of the work, "Lovers' Legends: The Gay Greek Myths" garnered rave reviews from:

  • I CANT WATCH THE SECOND ONE D=< WTF!!

  • greeks are not gay u bastard.!

  • The Dorians who invaded Greece and Crete absorbed certain aspects of Cretan culture but rejected the Cretan's social equality of male and female.

  • Actually there is no such thing as a Greek god. The gods in Greek mythology were either Cretan or adaptations of Egyptian gods. Linguistic research of linear a and b languages have shown that they bear no connection with the so called indo European languages. The culture of the cretans have also been shown to be non indo European.

  • OHHHH...GREEK MEN ARE SOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOT....THANKS TO A GREEK "GOD" I BROKE OUT OF MY CLOSET

  • The book is excellent!

  • *Sighs* Tim Carter's voice is soooooooooo relaxing. Makes me wanna sleep

  • The myths of Greece were "true history" to the Greeks? Sounds nice and dramatic, rather like a myth. The many variations of Greek myths, found in their poems and plays, is proof positive that the Greeks took great liberties with "truth" and "history." Thanks to people like Philip Zelikow, leading scholar in the field of public myth-making and executive director/chief writer of the 9/11 Commission Report, we are still passing bullshit off as "true history."
