  • It's funny. Richard Wagner spent his whole career as an atheist, trying to disprove the faith of Christianity, and now this song has become the most popular tune played at Christian weddings.

  • @ivanclaysburgh It should be noted that some christian groups have actually banned the use of this song due to what was happening in the opera at this point.

  • @ivanclaysburgh Revenge of the christians who still can't make a better sonf for the prupose, and for that, they just kidnapt Wagner's tunes... He wouldn't mind. He is great! :)
