Oh come on Morrissey, you ain't kidding anyone. Your no longer a 20 digit combination to unlock, more like a 51 digit combination to unlock!
-
@tmoore2010 Ha ha agreed.. But then again that's what makes it a good song!

This song needs the whistling in it. Hearing it again is nice, but man, does it remind me how great Johnny Marr is.

They have to sit down and not make any noise because it was a live broadcast on radio 2. I was there, free tickets and we were specifically told not to clap or anything.

the band is awful, I wish he would just change the while set of musicians!! They sound like pub rock band!

Not only is this a Smiths song, it's the last song the Smith's ever recorded together and a great example of the Marr/Morrissey split. The simple sing-song melody drove Marr crazy, where Moz liked that he was able to litter the chorus with weird curious references to his shoes! Truly a great, if not for it the tune itself, but rather for it's place in history. The last ever Smith's song, resurrected at last.

Me too! I was thrilled as hell when he performed it 4-8-09. He also sang "Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others".
At 0:58 seconds, listen to this genius of a man.
"Yellow and green, a stumbling block. I'm a twenty-digit combination to unlock with a past where to be 'touched' meant to be 'mental.'"
