Let's Play: Age of Booty (P1) HD

I'm doing a narrated let's play for Age of Booty. Part 1. Full HD Quality.

This is a strategy game that tries to get away from micro management. You are given a single ship and are given the means by which to upgrade your ship when you collect enough resources. This game is somewhat similar to a Heroes of Might and Magic game except it is all real time and the battles occur on the main window.

Sadly, while I do love a game with a simple base, this game has a lot of flaws. The single unit to control doesn't reduce micro management as much as it increases franctic gaming. The camera control on the PC version at least is absolutely atrocious. Finally, if you start losing in one of the games, you are that much more likely to do worse and worse. So once the victor has been decided, it can take 10-20 minutes to finally completely lose and there really isn't any way to turn it around.

I have never played this game and there IS an in-game help system, but it completely fails to answer any real questions. Eventually I figure out mad random clicking with the mouse tends to work for whatever I'm confused on. Not the best interfacing system, but it works.
