Thinking Allowed - Sanskrit Tradition
Duration: 23:28
Taken: 04 June 2006
Location: Israel
Prof. Dean Brown points out that most European languages can be traced back to a root language that is also related to Sanskrit - the sacred language of the ancient Vedic Hindu religions of India. Many English words actually have Sanskrit origins. Similarly, many Vedic religious concepts can also be found in Western culture. He discusses the fundamental idea of the Upanishads - that the essence of each individual, the atman, is identical to the whole universe, the principle of brahman. In this sense, the polytheistic traditions of India can be said to be monistic at their very core.

did tamil originate from sanskrit? Tamil is a classical language and to be classical it must be old, should not have originated from any other language, instead it must be parent to other languages.
I think both tamil and sanskrit are great languages, but to compare and argue which is old and greater is childish....because nobody saw it at the beginning..

But,understand those Aryans in North India was around 40,000 years.Dravidians nowhere related to North India and totally belonged to South India and reached South India by South eastern sea route in antiquity.
This is as per genetic study released on 25th Sep 2009 which totally debunked Aryan Invasion theory.I will send those details and improve your knowledge.

Will some one from outside Tamil Nadu even after learning Tamil could excel our Vaira muthu,Vaali etc.Is it?
You people are brainless morons!!
Those Brahman poets could create most difficult verses in Tamil means they are hailing from the Founders of Tamil language.
Similarly, the Poet Vaali and Vairamuthu creates Tamil so technically because they hailing from Tamil heritage. No outsider cant do this even though he/she could learn Tamil fluently to write and speak.

I like to ask one question to you.Why all ancient poets of Tamil literature are only Brahmans who are necessarily Sanskrit pundits.I need I will elaborate this.
The most difficult Kurinchi Thinai wrote by Kabila who was a Brahman.
The most chaste Tamil prose was written by Parimel Alazhagar who was a Brahman.Still most of them.
So,you people mean to say some one came from outside could give you Tamil verses which like is still not composed by any native Tamil. Is it?

Sage Agastya around 9000 years came down to South and gave Tamils their language with lot of efforts. He died in South only.
Sage Agastya collected all phonetic words and used by the local people and modified and gave words to write.Agastya utilized Sanskrit Grammar for this.Simple!!
Those Dravidian foolish liars believing those fake Aryan Invasion theory just gave opinions and wishes on Dravidians.
Why all very ancient Tamil poets are Brahmans who are necessarily Sanskrit pundits.

Tamil literature refers Agastya as Arya Maindan meaning son of Arya.(Refer)
Kaal in Sanskrit also black.Nile is referred as black river.
The original Sanskrit name for this river is Neela which later changed to Nile.
But,people still call Nile as black Nile or river.
