Joy Division is my all time favorite band, and i really love this cover. i'm glad they didn't just play the song the way Joy Division did. they managed to pay homage and capture the spirit of the classic while adding their own twist.

@allanfarrell i totally agree with you.......i listened to this track because of my lil sis.......she played it so much that i began to like it......i decided to find out where this track came from...and joy division came up.....both versions have their own thing.......but in reality......nothing can top the original creators......i really dig joy divisons versions and the killers cover......

LOL. I'm guessing most of the dislikes are JD fans. As some already admitted, some of you are upset because the song was covered. But, what would a cover be if it was played like the original? The Truest of True Fans really need to calm down and stop being so sensitive.

I've loved this song for more than 30 years and don't count myself a Killers fan particularly.
Anyone with an ounce of musical appreciation can hear this is an excellent homage played with great respect for the original.
Not sure about them oo-ee-oo bits though eh?
