I'm a burger and I'm offended.
-
whoever came up with 'turkey' in English didn't understand.
Turks don't say it the way English say it. We say "Turk-iye" .
See the ending 'iye' or ' Turkiya' is better. The English sounds association is off. Not sound right. Not 100% accurate.
I would like a change to represent how Turks say it. Not how the west/usa/UK say it.
Historical wrong.

I'm Turkish, it's funny...

She is hot. Period.

The first burger she bites is a real burger second bite is a turkey burger carls Jr FAIL

You're just a huge dumbass.
i will say it again. The word Turkey is being used as a derogative MORON. In every story in American the word is associated in puns against Turks.
The Americans need to say it the way Turks pronounce it.
-
you are a son of a moron. its türkiye in turkish and turkey in english. so what?
why should the turks or how could the turks change this? bullshit. why is it wrong completely like you moron said? people have different languages. get used to it.
turkey is fine btw. it could have been donkey.
@Ibringthetruth1 Grow up, man. I'm Turkish and I'm not insulted. It's a bird, so fucking what?
India is called Hindistan (turkeyland) and Egypt is called Misir (sweet corn) in Turkish.
We don't feel like we are insulting India or Egypt everytime we say Hindistan or Misir. It's the context that counts, not the words themselves.
