I have just returned from Crete and went to Maleme to see HIll 107 that we lost so early on , what we got was this emaculate German Cemetary. It did make me question (and others we were with, including a Polish couple), how is it that the Germans get such a privlaged location when they inflicted such pain? We didn't see so many German names in the visitors book at the time? It all made for a lot of discussion.
Of course we did respect it is their final place of rest.

This is political correctness gone mad! Wheres the nazi flags and emblems on the graves? After all they all swore an allegiance 2 Hitler and fought and died 4 the nazi cause!! History should not b glossed over no matter how evil
