  • Does this kind of music really take that much out of the pianist at the end? check the gesture after the final chord! Its NOT the shostakovich!!

    Bravo for the violinist and cellist, very tight indeed. Still not sure about the pianist....

    That's sort of his signature gesture :)

    You can see him doing that on some other pieces as well.

    Sometimes like that....sometimes a bit less ;)

    I also believe they had a long day. I could sense that for some reason....

  • @lynnbetube The octave leaps are actually very demanding. Way more than anything in Shostakovitch I would say.
