These are some captured starts and landings (some of mine, some of others) during the time and flights of the canarian open 2011, some where just fun flights when the task has been cancelled due to bad conditions (but not to bad- thats why we did fly every single day of our wonderful stay on Lanzarote.
First Mala, than La Asomada and last but not the tiniest bit the least: Orzola;)
0:48 = Volkmar
1:41 = spanish Pilot, first flight after 2 years... no injury...
1:49 = ...does not look too bad.. but twisted ankle by one of the many stones of lanzarote... triple ligament rupture!!!!
2:13 = lucky me!!... on inch away from the stones of this stonewall
2:19 = and suddely the wind is gone... and i go down head first...;) nothing happened
2:36 = G.Tschungg from Austria.. our first testpilot in La Asomada
3:40 = the overwhelming attraction of the small stonewalls... these look like scales of a fish and are made to protect the wine from lanzarote winds... and hangglider... i landet in one, the wingtips in the neighbor-ones.. soft landing and not touched anything;)
4:38 = G.Tschungg
4:50 = the one and only Martin (at the end we are saying: YES - HE CAN ;)
