@lordblazer The only reason I'm against it is because I don't even listen to it =P

dude they normally get 200 million every year which only a small percentage of that comes from the federal gov't. most comes from donors. I am tired of this crap. Why are you so against it?
-
@lordblazer It's costing half a billion per year. that's a waste of money.
-
wait what? what does NPR funding have to do with job creation? Please get out of here. you have no idea how the world works.
-
dude NPR is the only real news on radio waves today!! Everything else is conservative talk shows. man they have rural America believing in conspiracies. Leading lives of stupidity and ignorance. Now we can see more ignorant people pretend to know what they're talking about.
-
muslims don't enjoy being in the mainstream please stop your bullshit.
-
notice how conservatives always get their way? they lie and cheat and they always win? WTF America?
@kubaniski
NPR isn't a consumer good. It's non-profit, and tax exempt. Not having any sponsors to answer to gives them the ability to actually function as a source for information.
FOX is owned by a company that has a direct financial interest in which party is in office, and as such, will always favor one party over the other in their coverage.
The average fox viewer thinks we actually found WMDs in iraq. It's sickening.

NPR reports what's actually happening in reality. That's your problem. Reality has a well-known liberal bias. Who needs reality when you can have FOX?
