do u have to have a ham licence to get a Perseus receiver. I know u have to get an antenna but what would i need to get started.

on recieve there is really nothing in it but for dx catching with the wide band recording there is no contest the perseus wins

The audio response of the Perseus seems muffled and restricted to lower audio frequencies compared to the Drake. However, the low frequencies are absent from the Drake, which would be expected from a communications receiver (300 Hz to 3 kHz typical response).
