  • Thanks for sharing this! I'd have to weigh it to see if I'd use it enough to really warrant the cost but like you, I'm looking for the full 12x12 size die. Loved seeing your video.

  • Do you know if they sell the BSP in stores? Shipping costs would be too high for me. I only want it for embossing. I hate trimming my cards to fit the machines...this looks like an expensive option tho! LOL

  • Hi evreyone!!! I wanted to give you an update, Sizzix has released a wafer die adapter for the BSP. The Sizzix part number is 657435 and it retails for $40. It is a 3 piece set and makes it so that you can use your BSP with ANY other brand of dies and embossing folders easily.

@FineCrafter, this is what you will need to use regular embossing folders. Many of us with BSPs were hoping that Sizzix would relese 12x12 embossing folders but we haven't seen anything yet.

  • The dies for this are way too expensive, especially when you consider their limitations as far as size goes. I am most interested in using this for embossing. Is there anything else I would need to buy to use embossing folders? Also do you know if sizzix intends to create 12x12 embossing folders for this machine? Thanks for the video.

  • holy crap $60 for 1 die,not worth it to me i have a cricut e and the only reason i would want a big shot is to emboss but i'm not even seeing the worth in that with how much it costs.

  • @iamgodgirl

YES!! You have to work with the sandwiches to make it work but you can do it. Sizzix hasn't released a large multi-purpose platform but you can use the one for the regular Big Shot and follow the tabs as normal.

  • Can you use this for Cuttlebug, Nestabiliities, and other all other Sizzix dies?
