xwooly if you're interested I have a set of lines plans for the original Bluenose
Often thought of building a model of her, but I don't think my skills would do her justice. You're welcome to what I've got, just one request: if you do build her,please post pics or a video for us.

the real blue nose has 2 masts but I pushed it to a 3 masted vessel because I always wanted to. I dont know if the blue nose had any top sails as it was schooner gaff rigged. this model just happens to look very much like blue nose.

lol true that.

Hey I will take a genuine offer.
If I actually get a real offer I will consider it but So far I will only offer schooners and not pirate ships because If they malfunction or the rigg gets gummed up I am probablly the only guy that could fix it so this is why I would rather sell to say Locals that I race and meet. These type of ships require seamanship and a little bit of model building skill because you will never know if you need to stain it again!New captains must be able to repair them.
i`ve seen got auxilliary keel, I wonder if exact scale would be viable for sailing, mean w out aux keel and other stuff

@mig15fan
It can be done but I found out the hard way that you must use enough ballast to counter the forces to prevent a capsize and the artificial keels counter the forces better!
You will need to build a bigger boat and ultralight yet strong.
I got a few boats that can go in very shallow water without dragging or catching anything but I find them useless on a very windy day....The big keel offsets the usual storms and is a detail that can be overlooked and in some cases, detached!
