This is a bunch of clips of being up at the abandoned fairlawn building, Some parts of the building still had power and it wasnt as trashed as it is now.

  • who owns the property inside this place if it is still around?

  • @sinisisterblue the city of Pontiac I believe

  • @VeryFineCrapVideos wow i would love to find some of the old medical stuff in those old places. yet who knows what kind of creepy stuff is growing on them.

  • @sinisisterblue I have a bunch of stuff that I've collected and brought back, I also still have all my stuff from when I was there, I'm going to do a video of it one day I just haven't been in the mood. I'm going to be doing one last fairlawn building video in the next few weeks, then I can't go back anymore. But the last one is going to be a walk through explaining what was each room, talk about things that happened there good and bad.

  • do you know why it was abandoned at all???

  • Yes It was part of the clinton valley center that close due to tax cuts in michigan and they had just done a $300,000 fix up on that building a year before, so I guess they planned to use it for something but just forgot to. It's been sitting empty for 12 years and someone is still paying the power bill.

  • @deathwatch or any one else----I would love to purchase the old hospitol equipment if the owners can be found. I just opened a haunted house outside toledo and this type of stuff is very hard to find. If any one has info on who to contact or has any thing i might be able to use plz message me!

  • @sinisisterblue

Can't think of the guy's name, but it is a prvt land owner. Not the city.

  • I was a inmate there for running away from home to many times, moms put me there to check out my head see if i was nuts, some of the best times of my life was in this place love to see it now, but hate to see how it looks. Thanks for vid. (Inmate 1992-1993)

  • @VeryFineCrapVideos What did you get from there? any strait-jackets?

  • i was a inmate there back in the mid 1960's to september of 1970.

if you would like alot of information about clinton valley center. also on fair lawn.

    my email jtaravellasr@yahoo.com

  • so many where there whn i was for lack of good parenting it seemed very few were there for mental health problems that needed inpatient care but was a safe haven for us! I was thankful to be there the staff were like parents to me and we had everything we needed and if we had nothing they provided it for us school, OT, IT swimming and always something going on for us.

  • there were alot of reasons from patient rights complaints to staffing issues tax issues and money to run it...they got a fairly good offer on the property and most of it was developed in to upper end homes...its very sad to see it this way it has been a fixture there for sooo long and they just redid and built new building I was there for the ground breaking ceremony its really a sad thing to see so many children and young adult (teens) depended on this place for care shelter and support.

  • @VeryFineCrapVideos wow what a wonderful idea, i will be waiting for that one. would love to take my own trip some day.

  • @TruthfullSlander it has to be odd see it this way now.
