I have not said that you should accept anything unconditionally. Always look for evidence that support any given hype or theory. I just argued against your claim that just because the scientists were Jewish it gave them more credibility than if they were Christian or Atheist. To be an expert in a field does not mean that you look at the right place all the time either. I encourage you to look at Walter J. Veith story of the Exodus and you may discover that it does add up.

So just because a Jew decide that you cannot prove it.. then it must not have happened? DId you know that there was once an evolutionist and an atheist that converted to Christ because he said evolution was wrong? So by your logic it Evolution is false. I believe your logic is faulty in this regard. Appeal to Authority means nothing when it comes to wether it is true or not.

You should look at Professor Walter J. Veith who have made an excellent rendering of what happened at the Exodus, when it happened and what persons were invovled. This happened before Akenaten, pardon my spelling.. and before Ramses III the popular choice. The key person is Queen Hapsepsut and Tutmoses III. And again, proof is only found in mathmatics.. the rest works on evidence. Heb 11:1

I guess I'm not as most believers. The Bible itself states in Mt 7:21 that not every one that says they believe in Christ actually do. You say that it is only in my head that the Bible have been verified and confirmed? Well I disagree.. it was also in the head of Ron Wyatt.. and in the head of many many other Christians. So it is not just me. Your pastor is mistaken, you should read some of C.S Lewis. Besides.. only Math deal with proof, the rest deal with evidence. XD

Faith is based on evidence or it would be blind faith. The Bible have been verified over and over again. There is little reason to doubt the accounts in the Bible for the events that have been questioned by the critiques have been verified by archeology. True that not every account have been verified yet but that is to be expected it did happen afterall a very long time ago.
