This is just a quick vid response to show how we light charcoal for incense using our stove.

* This isn't the most aesthetically pleasing way to light incense, but for us it is a practical method.
* I've been asked if using this method would mean that the charcoal wouldn't last as long. Not in my experience. The charcoal usually lasts anywhere from one to two hours.

  • Wonderful! A fellow Catholic! And you're proud of it! Amen! I love your herbs and incense cabinets! Btw, I hope you bless the incense first. :)

  • well, thank you! last night, attempting to light incense, i could have made a video demonstrating everything that can possibly go wrong in the process, including burned clothing, dozens of dead matches, two emptied firestarters, singed fingers.... a companion piece to this, perhaps. can't wait to go fire up my stove!

  • You Rock!!! Thank you so much! You solved my problem! God bless you!
