A highly revisionist view of the war. The Falklands war is unique among modern wars, as small actions by idividuals could have drastically altered the course of the war.

Though this video capitalises on this fact, it would be entirely faesible to create a film along the same lines, showing just about any outcome.

However, it has some excellent interviews with key command figures from the war, some of whom have since died.

But the Falkland Islanders are home already - in the place of their birth.

It is the Argentine Government that wants to control a piece of land because it's near by, and they don't care about the rights of the people who were born there. Now that's what I call imperialism!

  • Argentinians are brilliant fighters - on the internet. Too bad they can't fight real wars and have to invent silly fucking fantasies about how and why they lost after invading the Falklands.

  • Sooner or later we will recover the islands. The islanders have no rights, they are descendants of the invaders.

  • @scarlebloke no senora or senor no meant or sir ,I'm not argentinian and I love the english language this documental if ii'm not wrong was made it by either british or USA,and we don't invent silly fantasies as you stated it, argentines air forces were aplauded by many countries during their performances in the war, argentines loses compared britain a powerful empire potency argentina a third world country is that silly to you I don't think so lol lol !!!!!!!!!!

  • @matitias1

argentina didn’t exist when a small British force attacked Spanish colonies in 1806/18. This was a tiny part of the Napoleonic war when the UK was fighting against France and Spain - which the UK won.

  • @matitias1 pesimo tu comentario.

  • This is just an program attempting to get attention, the last of britain's defense cuts had been finished and if they had done it later there wouldnt of been much difference and even if they did win, there would of been mass protests by the falklanders and eventually they would be British again; I mean the falklanders are more proud to be British than any other Brits!

  • @krackersdave

The Brasil Empire are unarmed natives ?

And if you forget it , you say murdered and stole land , but you Empire invade ours lands in 1806 and 1808 , do you know what happen ? We win the 2 wars and send you to your british land

And again , you say murdered and sole land to the natives , but what you do when your empire discover The North of America ? you murdered all the natives and put your colonies

Before talk shit , use wikipedia and learn some History

    ARGENTINA 2 - ENGLAND 1

  • @matitias1 8 wars against unarmed natives who you murdered and stole land from does not count. Learn from the last one and don't ever fuck with the UK again.

  • @scarlebloke

    not win a war ?

we fight 9 wars in our History

we win 8 and we lost 1 ( this war )

  • @PlaneAU The fuck we would. The UK is not on a war footing - we are still an advanced 1st world nation with access to very high tech weaponry and member of some very powerful alliances. If we really wanted to fight we could within 2 years field and equip an army and navy to make the world tremble. FFS we spend 400 bln on welfare and 30bln on defence - imagine if we flipped that around. Never mind stopping at Stanley - we could take and flatten the entire Argentinian mainland. And THAT is a FACT.
