"By Way of Sorrow" is a keeper, for sure, but it's not Dar at her mind-numbing best. Mind you, I'm a Pop expert having very little native compassion for Folk styles.

Lucy Kaplansky sings lead on this song, the other two members of Cry Cry Cry, Dar Williams and Richard Shindell sing harmony. And Julie and Buddy Miller wrote the song, not Dar, but thanks for posting.

The song was written by Buddy and Julie MIller. The lead singer is Lucy Kaplansky. Dar Williams and Richard Shindell sing harmonies. The three of them got together to form the folk super group, Cry, Cry, Cry for one year only, unfortunately. They were great together.
