This is a video I recorded in mid-summer of 2009, hence the relatively poor quality. I'm uploading it now because originally, this video was longer than ten minutes. And then still, it was longer than 15 minutes. My account has been approved for greater-than-15-minute videos now, and I knew there was -some- way I wanted to take advantage of that. This was it =P.
"Wandering Marbles" is an old "series" I haven't contributed to in forever, where I'd just improv in front of the camera for an extended period of time. The original video description was as follows: "I'd like to rename the first half of this (through to 10:15 ) 'Playing Whatever I Want,' cuz some of the things I play aren't original and thus don't really belong in Neptescendre. I'd split it, but I'm a very incompetent video editor, and the last time I tried to do that the exported file was over 16 times the original file size. Don't have much to say about it. It happened. Tell me what ya think."
I used to have this idea that, even if I couldn't create great music, I could at least create music that was different and unique enough to inspire those who listened to it, so that they may create great music themselves. Can't say I really carry that same idea as much anymore, but I do still value and record all of my musical ideas when possible. Sometimes, my old music inspires me! =)
