Here we have my trusty ford mondeo 1.8 lx diesle estate I have had this car since 80000 miles and it has never missed a beat. I have always had it serviced and looked after and the engine runs brilliant. Starts first time everytime.
It has now done 153,000 miles but the engine sounds as if their's another 153,000 in it.
I had a new water pump, oil pump and cambelt change at 150,000 miles inluding a full service in november 2009.
New break pads fitted in feb 2010
The car has been losing brake/clutch fluid and I think the clutch is on the way out as the car starts to move after about 90 seconds even with the clutch fully pressed in.
The car is an excellant project for doing the clutch and will give many miles after this work is done.
The vehcle was used only on motorway work and does between 55 to 60 mpg
We are selling the car as spares or repair but it does drive though I recommend someone in another vehcle comes with the buyer should the clutch go all together.
