Hear John Lennon's "peace" performed by Brad Stanfield. The song John Lennon supposedly sent to us from beyond the grave. Believe it or not...you be the judge!

  • John Lennon did not write trite doggerels. This song is an insult to Lennons mind and intelligence.

  • May John Lennon rest in peace. We should learn to live together.

  • i love lennon, but i don't believe it, sorry man

    (above us only sky)

  • Thanks for responding and no need to be sorry that you don't believe. Personally I feel it's a big stretch but hey I love John Lennon and I love this song. It sure does remind me of his style. I thought I would share it with Lennon fans.

  • embarrasing.

  • What were you expecting to see the late John Lennon in the flesh. The real question here is "Were the words and music conveyed through a medium channeling John Lennon. And no Brad Stanfield was NOT the medium. He was just commissioned to develop the song and sing it. The words and melody were captured by a Hindi medium outside of Deli India. I apologize if I offended any true blue Lennon fans. It's simple you can believe or not believe.

  • BEAUTIFUL GREAT SONG BLESS YOU MR. JOHN LENNON ATTE ALLAN FROM MEXICO

  • It would be really hard for me to believe John "sent" this to us from wherever he is now, but I guess that it makes a wonderful tribute to him, his music and his ideas. Personaly I liked this song, a lot. RIP JOHN, WE LOVE YOU!!! xx

  • I'm a big big Lennon fan, i know all his songs inside out. It has a Lennon theme about it, & could imagine (sorry fot the pun) him singing this. If he was alive today, & he sung this, everyone would say, YES, another great classic Lennon song. What does it matter if it is an insult to Johns memory, its a beautiful song, & I think John would all so love it.........Long live Lennon.......

  • We'll it has the "Lennon vibe" but.....there's just something...missing

and personally I won't believe it until there's proof it's real, even if I believe in spirits.

And for crying out loud, the singer sounds like he's trying to impersonate John Lennon singing Imagine...it's just weird

  • i can imagine john lennon writing that and i belivie in spirits so basically Peace

  • dont you think theres a chance that the sitar playert/medium would be able to write a song like that after hearing the beatles and john lennons music, consider the fact he might've just got his own song famous using johns name, it is kind of an insult, but regardless, this song is great.

  • even if this isnt really from john it is still keeping his image alive and his message, for people saying its an insult, its the opposite, they help to keep his image alive and still do his work, promote peace

  • I was 9 years old when I started rocking to the Beatles. I am 55 today. John always stood for peace in the world so the lyrics to this song would definately be near and dear to his heart - especially if he could see the mess this world is in today (Iraq war, suicide bombers, etc.). Why would he care? His two sons and maybe one day his grandbabies on earth. The melody is definately his style. I know John will not rest in PEACE as long as the world is in this mess. Peace out.
